About NVD
Founded in 1980 as a family-owned business, NVD UK was established to support vehicle manufacturers by ensuring the timely and incident-free distribution of their products. Over the years, we have become a trusted one-stop solution, delivering all three core pillars of outbound logistics: transporting, storing, and enhancing our customers' vehicles before final delivery.
Since our inception, NVD UK has led the way in pioneering the digitisation of the Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) industry. As early adopters of emerging technologies, we have introduced significant efficiencies that save our customers both time and money. Our commitment to progress, innovation, and continuous service improvement remains central to our business ethos today.

- Plan and monitor daily transport operations to achieve maximum efficiency, compliance, and profitability.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the driver team, supporting training, performance reviews, and development.
- Collaborate with Compliance, HR, Safety, and Planning teams to meet operational and safety objectives.
- Maintain and update all vehicle and operator records, ensuring insurance, MOT, and calibration documentation are current.
- Monitor and report on key transport KPIs including driver scores, fuel efficiency, and load turnaround performance.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the transport department.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior transport or fleet management role (CPC qualification essential).
- In-depth knowledge of transport legislation, Operator Licence compliance, and driver hours regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing driver teams.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve operational goals.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to safety and performance excellence.
