About the role:

  • Work closely with the Smart repair department.
  • Carry out all aspects of wheel refurbishment, working on polished, diamond cut and painted alloy wheels.
  • Diamond cutting wheels using the latest equipment.
  • Prepare our vehicles to a very high standard to be showroom ready.
  • Working to targets and KPI's set out by the Prep Manager.
  • Working on an array of makes and models including Hybrid and EV.
  • Contribute to efficiency - You are empowered to suggest and implement changes to help improve our processes, and to truly make a difference.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential to the role as you will be driving manual, automatic & electric vehicles.

About you:

We are looking for a skilled Alloy Wheel Technician who has a good working knowledge of different wheel types and materials, as well as the knowledge of the tools and equipment required to carry out repairs and refurbishments. You'll be a reliable and hardworking team player, able to work efficiently and effectively to ensure our vehicles are presented to our customers in the best possible condition.

Skills required:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential to the role as you will be driving manual, automatic & electric vehicles.
  • At least 2 year's experience in a similar role

Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17.30 / Friday 08:00 – 17:00
