Mobile Parking Operative – Full Time

Location: Mobile (multiple sites, travel required)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Wednesday - Sunday 12:00pm- 08:00pm

Rest Days: Monday & Tuesday 

Pay: From £12.25 per hour, paid weekly

At Intelli-Park, we're leading the future of parking and mobility — but that starts with you. As a Mobile Parking Operative, you'll be working outdoors, managing your route, and acting as a key presence across car parks and private land.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active and working independently. But let's be clear: this is not always an easy job. You'll be issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs), which can lead to challenging conversations. You need to be confident, calm, and professional — especially when faced with conflict or frustration.

What You'll Do

  • Patrol client car parks and private land on foot or by vehicle

  • Monitor compliance and issue PCNs for vehicles in breach of parking rules

  • Travel between sites using your own car or motorbike (fuel reimbursed)

  • Provide excellent, clear communication to members of the public

  • Handle difficult situations with a calm, respectful approach

  • Submit daily site status reports and raise feedback to head office

  • Ensure signage and bay markings are clear, visible, and correct

  • Represent Intelli-Park with professionalism at all times

What You'll Need

  • Access to your own car or motorbike

  • A full UK Driving Licence

  • Willingness to add business insurance (we'll reimburse up to £50)

  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience

  • A resilient, respectful, and confident approach to challenging conversations

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Flexibility to support local cover during holidays or absences

  • A DBS check may be required before starting
