Role: Behaviour Mentor

Location: Camden

Contract Type: Full-time, End of Academic Year (potential to be extended)
Salary: £430 - £500 PW

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference in pupils' lives by helping them develop positive behaviour and emotional resilience. You will join a dedicated pastoral team committed to ensuring every child reaches their potential.

What does a Behaviour Mentor do?

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

  • Identify pupils in need of behavioural and emotional support.
  • Deliver one-to-one mentoring sessions to help pupils develop positive behaviour strategies.
  • Liaise with SENCos and families to ensure a Holistic Approach.
  • Organise structured lunchtime activities for pupils who need additional support during breaks.

What are we looking for?

You must have:

  • Degree in a relevant subject (Education Studies, Psychology, Counselling)
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a calm manner.

Where can this role take you?

A position as a Behaviour Mentor can open doors to a fulfilling career in education and youth support. You can progress to Lead Mentor, Mentor Coordinator roles or use the experience to pursue further training in counselling, speech and language therapy, or even teacher training.
