International Clinical Applications Specialist

Location: Home based in the UK (either Manchester, London or Birmingham with close access to airport links). National and international travel required (approx 50% travel time expected).

The International Clinical Application Specialist will support our growing international distributor network through clinical training, and application and clinical support that enable them to deliver the expected growth.
What to Expect:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing international distributors covering product features, clinical applications, and best practices.
- Create market-specific training materials tailored to regional healthcare practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct virtual and on-site training sessions for distributor sales teams, clinical specialists, and support staff.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness through testing and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing technical support to distributors for complex clinical applications and troubleshooting.
- Support key clinical trials, evaluations, product demonstrations and research studies to ensure successful adoption of company products.
- Support the introduction of new products and advanced clinical techniques in international markets.
- Offer on-site clinical support at key hospitals and medical centres to demonstrate advanced techniques and applications.
- Serve as primary clinical resource for distributor inquiries regarding product specifications, contraindications, and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with R&D and clinical teams to stay current with product developments and clinical evidence.
- Participate in international medical conferences, trade shows, and educational events.
- Maintain regular communication with international distributors regarding clinical updates, product information, and best practices.
- Ensure all distributors have access to current clinical documentation, training materials, and product information.
What We Expect:
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
- Clinical certifications relevant to the medical device specialty area (e.g., surgical technology, radiology) are highly valued.
- Strong level of experience in clinical applications, medical device training, or healthcare delivery.
- Previous experience in international markets or working with distributors is preferred.
- Experience in the medical device industry, in surgical or diagnostic equipment is preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering effective clinical training programs.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and reimbursement landscapes in key international markets.
