Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Assistant located in Stoke-On-Trent. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for tasks such as managing credit control, purchase ledger handling petty cash, supporting finance operations, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. This role includes recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Credit Control and Petty Cash management skills
  • Finance and Accounting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Office suite
  • Relevant experience in an accounts or finance role is beneficial
  • Formal education in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred

Ideally proven experience or full or part AAT qualification would be an advantage.
