Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom Bristol City Council Full time

Permanent and Full Time (37 hours per week)

Do you want to play a positive role in keeping Bristol's traffic moving?

Civil Enforcement Officers play a vital role in ensuring that the transport network system operates safely and that congestion is minimised. In order to continue this valuable service, Bristol City Council are now looking to recruit 3 Civil Enforcement Officer (CCTV) Supervisors to facilitate the enforcement of bus lane/stop restrictions in Bristol using CCTV enforcement cameras.

Each supervisor will be allocated to one team of Civil Enforcement Officers in the following sub teams:

  • Attended camera enforcement: Bus stops/lanes and school zig zags.
  • Unattended camera: Bus lane and moving traffic evidence pack reviews.
  • Unattended camera: Clean Air Zone evidence pack reviews.

On occasion you will be expected to cover absence of other supervisors and therefore it is essential that you are committed to obtaining a Security Industry Association Public Space Surveillance Licence. This is required to work with the attended camera enforcement team who are located in our Operations Centre (also based at 100 Temple Street).

Full training and support will be provided.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
