Salary: £60,000–£80,000
Location: Harrow, London 
Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor seeking high-quality work, genuine autonomy, and a collaborative environment free from the constraints of large firm hierarchy? Our client, an established London law firm with over 25 years of excellence, is seeking a Senior Associate to join their growing Commercial Property team.

About the Role
As a Commercial Property Senior Associate, you'll manage a varied and high-quality caseload across the full spectrum of commercial property work. You'll have the autonomy to run your own matters whilst working collaboratively with an ambitious, friendly team that values your input and expertise.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing freehold and leasehold property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals for commercial clients
  • Advising on lease negotiations, extensions, and renewals for both landlords and tenants
  • Handling development work, including site set-up, planning agreements, and development due diligence
  • Acting on property finance and refinancing matters for lenders and borrowers
  • Conducting comprehensive due diligence, title investigations, and property searches
  • Advising landlords, tenants, developers, and investors on their legal rights, obligations, and strategic options
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and commercial property law
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the team, including input into systems, strategy, and service delivery
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years' PQE in Commercial Property (UK qualified solicitor)
  • Strong technical expertise across commercial property transactions, leases, and development work
  • Proven experience acting for landlords, tenants, developers, lenders, and investors
  • Experience with property finance and refinancing transactions
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding client care and relationship management abilities
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Confident communicator with professional intermediaries and clients
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing to a collaborative team environment
Desirable:
  • Experience with complex development projects and site assembly
  • Knowledge of planning law and agreements
  • Established client following or demonstrable business development experience
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience
