We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in care professionals to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Live-in carer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and enabling them to stay in their own homes.
- Location of the job will be across the county of Rutland, including Oakham and surrounding villages.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Support clients with medication management and adherence to prescribed health plans.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to our Manager.
What are we looking for?
- A caring, empathetic and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to help others in need of care
- Minimum of 12 months experience as a Live-in carer
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Ability to perform lifting with assisting clients with mobility needs
