We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior In-Home Care professional to provide high-quality support and assistance to elderly clients in their own homes. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients maintain their independence and quality of life while receiving the care they need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs as required.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalised care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in in-home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A caring and patient demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation purposes.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable.

Pay: £14.23-£14.65 per hour
