The Team
AMD's Data Center GPU organization is transforming the industry with our AI based Graphic Processors. Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. The Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Product Director to join AMD's Data Center GPU AI Software Product Management team. In this role, you will shape the strategy, definition, and delivery of enterprise AI solutions powered by AMD Instinct GPUs. You will engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their AI/ML workloads—including emerging agentic AI use cases—and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products that drive customer success.
The Person
As a Director of Product Management, you will influence AMD's AI software ecosystem and enterprise customers relying on GPU-powered AI applications. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, dynamic leader with deep knowledge of enterprise AI workloads, software ecosystems, and product management best practices. You excel at translating customer needs into actionable product strategies and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration are essential
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the strategy and roadmap for enterprise AI software solutions aligned with Data Center GPU goals.
- Partner with enterprise customers to gather insights on AI workloads and infrastructure, prioritizing features to meet their needs.
- Identify opportunities in AI workloads (e.g., LLM inference/training, recommender systems, computer vision) and emerging agentic AI to drive innovation.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and software strategy teams to optimize AMD Instinct GPU solutions.
- Develop clear value propositions, positioning, and collateral to support product messaging for customers and partners.
- Work with ISVs, GSIs, and OEMs to deliver comprehensive AI-ready enterprise solutions that accelerate adoption.
Preferred Experience
- Several years in enterprise software product management, focused on AI/ML or enterprise cloud/edge workloads.
- Strong understanding of AI software stacks and infrastructure for large-scale deployments.
- Experience building, managing, or deploying enterprise-scale AI applications.
- Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and edge deployment environments.
- Proven track record managing technical products through the full lifecycle.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
