Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the South London Area, United Kingdom, to join our a Fire Door Installation team.

The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing fire doors to meet safety standards and regulations. Daily tasks include measuring and fitting doors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, inspecting existing installations, and providing high-quality workmanship to meet client and industry requirements. The installer will collaborate with team members and clients to deliver effective fire safety solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire doors and passive fire protection systems
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes, and compartmentation practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy
  • Physical ability to handle tools, equipment, and materials associated with door installation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CSCS card or equivalent certification in construction or fire safety is an advantage
  • Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and specifications
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
  • Driving license is beneficial for site visits
