Experienced Drainage Engineer Vacancy with immediate start

Drainfix Southwest Ltd have a great opportunity of a experienced lead drainage engineer position to join our team.

Drainage CCTV Engineer Required: Permanent Full Time Position.

Office location is Taunton, Somerset but the work area is South West

Must have the following:

  • 6 months experience in jetting and using drainage cameras inc crawler unit
  • Full UK Driving Licence

CSCS required but can be obtained for the right candidate.

SSSTS would be desirable but not essential and can be obtained for the right candidate.

OS19x would be desirable but not essential along with experience in patch Lining.

Key responsibilities for the Drainage Engineer:

  • Attend reactive emergency call outs to clear internal and external blockages.
  • Undertake CCTV inspections where you will be responsible for identifying defects, pipe condition with above and below ground drainage systems.
  • Undertake commercial site post completion drainage surveys working off of as built plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • To assist on our parent companies groundwork sites when required (minor civils) full training and plant tickets given to the right candidate.
  • Must be available to assist with out of hours and weekend works when required.
  • Working as a team of 2 across the south west of England (nationwide when needed)

Schedule:

  • 44 Hours per week (basic)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime when available
