We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Maths teacher with a passion for pedagogy to join us as a Lead Practitioner. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within our Maths department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and motivate Maths teachers to develop their practice and achieve outstanding results.
  • Lead collaborative planning and the sharing of best practice within the department.
  • Support the implementation of effective assessment and feedback strategies in Maths.
  • Analyse student performance data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality teaching resources.
  • Keep abreast of national developments in Maths education.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • A strong record of excellent teaching in Maths.
  • Experience in leading initiatives or projects within a Maths department.
  • Sound understanding of effective teaching and learning methodologies in Maths.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
