Please note that this role is based in London with a requirement to attend our office 2-3 days per week.

Role Summary

As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in defining and shaping the requirements for our core transfer agency platform. You will bring knowledge of transfer agency operations and work closely with senior Product Managers to translate business needs, client requirements, and regulatory demands into clear and actionable Epics.

You will not be expected to own the full product lifecycle or roadmap. Instead, your focus will be on research, analysis, and documentation to ensure our product features are accurately defined and aligned to industry needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter contributor in transfer agency operations, particularly in European markets (Ireland and Luxembourg).
  • Translate business requirements, client feedback, and market changes into detailed Epics and product specifications.
  • Conduct research on regulatory requirements, market trends, and competitor offerings to inform product design.
  • Support senior Product Managers in maintaining product backlogs and preparing product materials for delivery teams.
  • Work with Business Analysts to ensure Epics are broken down into accurate user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in cross-functional workshops with engineering, delivery, and design teams to refine requirements.
  • Ensure documentation is consistent, structured, and aligned with ZILO's product development framework.

Requirements

  • Experience in the transfer agency business or related asset servicing operations.
  • Strong ability to analyse processes and define clear, structured product requirements.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and agile practices.
  • Clear communication skills to bridge business needs and technical teams.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented approach, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in delivering results.
  • Experience working with JIRA and Confluence and familiarity with agile methodologies is desired.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives, while also fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capacity to navigate complex challenges.
