Job Description

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager to join a global, leading HVAC manufacturer.

This Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager will operate remotely, focusing on driving business development and progressing management of key accounts for products such as actuators, sensors, valves and dampers into HVAC system integrators, OEMs, end users and distributors.

The ideal Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager will have strong experience in selling and managing key accounts for HVAC/Automation products including actuators, sensors, valves and dampers, with a strong focus on business development, particularly into HVAC system integrators, OEMs, end users and distributors. This role will be cover the north of England across areas such as Manchester, Leeds, Humber, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager Role:

  • Driving business development and the management of key accounts for a range of HVAC products within the ventilation market including actuators, sensors, valves and dampers and wider HVAC/Automation products into HVAC system integrators, OEMs, end users and distributors.
  • Maintain and grow HVAC product sales of actuators, sensors, valves and dampers through demonstrations, exhibitions, and negotiations to achieve targets.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to offer technical expertise, implement sales strategies to customers.
  • Consistently growing technical and professional knowledge through personal network and professional society participation.
  • Strong relationship building skills with residential installers.
  • Operate fully remote, being able to travel across the north of England across areas such as Manchester, Leeds, Humber, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar role within the HVAC or automation industry.
  • A technical qualification such as Apprentice-trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Selling and management of key accounts within HVAC products, including actuators, sensors, valves and dampers.
  • Willingness to work fully remote from home with regular travel to engage with clients across the north of England in areas such as Manchester, Leeds, Humber, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.
  • Full clean driving license required.
