Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience working in busy kitchen environments. The successful applicant will be organised, creative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional quality in every plate.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Cook and assemble meals efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection when required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during service hours
  • Support the training of junior staff and interns as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is highly desirable
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and menus
  • Serving experience is beneficial, especially in customer-facing roles

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£18.70 per hour
