Brunch Chef

Moody's is a new independent neighbourhood bar and kitchen, currently serving specialty coffee, craft beer, great wine, and cocktails. We're all about creating a cool, welcoming hangout with a genuinely lovely team. We believe in giving our team real creative control, encouraging collaboration, experimentation, and new ideas to build something different, exciting, and memorable as the business grows.

What we're looking for

We've been trading as a coffee shop and bar for the past 4 months and are now looking for a passionate and inventive brunch chef to launch our kitchen. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business and have a major influence in shaping our kitchen and menu now and as we grow.

We are looking to create a small but quality menu which is done really well. Think blueberry, matcha & pistachio french toast, smashed avocado, acai & granola bowls, eggs benedict with a twist etc. We're looking for someone who is creative and ahead of trends, work with seasonal ingredients, and cares about consistency, presentation, and taste.

What you'll bring:

• A passion for creating standout brunch dishes
• Up-to-date knowledge of food trends and plating styles
• Ability to design and deliver weekly or seasonal specials
• Excellent organisation and kitchen standards
• Experience running or supporting a busy daytime service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
