The Role:
To manage mid-scale digital transformation projects at business, organisational and system level, managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to handover to business as usual.
The Senior Project Manager will manage a number of projects concurrently, working closely with the Programme Manager and many other stakeholders from the business and IT to produce accurate and achievable delivery plans, facilitating the setup of projects and managing resources, prioritising and overseeing project activities, preparing and tracking project budgets, exercise good judgement and discretion, escalating to stakeholders when required to enable projects to be
successfully implemented.

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. We may be able to consider a fractional appointment working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held week commencing 12th January 2026.
This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 02 July 2027. For internal candidates it may be possible to apply for this role under the Secondment Policy .
