Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant

London (Hybrid)

Contract inside IR35 / Permanent

UST is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant with strong experience in financial planning and/or workforce planning applications. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning solutions, collaborating with finance and business stakeholders to refine budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring the success of client engagements.

As a Workday Partner, UST offers an opportunity to maintain your Workday certification while contributing to high-impact financial transformation projects.

The Role:

  • Deliver financial and workforce planning applications in Workday Adaptive Planning, including the development of actuals statements (income and balance).
  • Develop and optimize planning models for key financial areas to support business goals.
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to improve budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Lead and support project delivery across the full lifecycle — from scoping and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide application support, including troubleshooting and hands-on configuration for Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Build and maintain client satisfaction, ensuring high-quality service and strengthening UST's footprint and reputation.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teamsto define requirements, analyze issues, and develop robust, scalable solutions.

What You'll bring:

  • Workday Adaptive Planning Certification (required)
  • Workday Financials Certification (preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Workday Adaptive Planning, with strong focus on financial model development
  • Proven ability to manage senior customer stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, etc.)
  • Experience supporting financial planning/workforce planning systems, with strong problem-solving and configuration skills
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and full project lifecycle delivery
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and focus
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, or related field
