Job Description:
Homecare Gurus Ltd is seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide vital support to individuals in their homes or care facilities, helping them with daily activities and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication management.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' health to the care team.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure a clean, safe environment for clients.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Mandatory training certifications in areas such as first aid, health and safety, and safeguarding.
