Permanent Contract | Term-Time Only + 2 Weeks in August + 9 Deep Cleaning Days | Part-time (17.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 5am - 8.30am)

We're looking for a reliable, dedicated and hardworking School Cleaner to join our Campus Team. This is an essential role at the heart of our school - ensuring every classroom, corridor and communal space is ready for students and staff to start their day in a clean, hygienic and welcoming environment.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll take pride in maintaining your own designated area to a high standard. From preparing classrooms before lessons begin to keeping key spaces spotless and organised, your work will make a real and immediate difference to life across the school.

About the role

Reporting to our Cleaning Supervisors (and the Campus Manager in their absence), you'll take ownership of:

• Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across your designated area
• Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors and communal spaces
• Ensuring furniture, equipment and teaching spaces are reset and ready for use
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and spot-cleaning surfaces as required
• Keeping cleaning cupboards organised, monitoring stock and ensuring equipment is looked after
• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the Cleaning Supervisors
• Supporting the wider team with weekly, monthly and termly deep-cleaning tasks
• Contributing to a high level of presentation across the whole school site

You'll be a valued part of a team that takes pride in what they do - and whose work underpins the smooth running of the entire school.

You'll bring:

• A positive, hardworking attitude and pride in maintaining high standards
• Experience in a cleaning or facilities role - especially in a school or similar environment - is desirable but not essential. What matters most is reliability, care, and a willingness to get stuck in.
• The ability to follow routines, instructions and checklists with accuracy
• A methodical approach and strong attention to detail
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a small, supportive team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Awareness of COSHH or Manual Handling (beneficial, but not essential)
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
