Job Title: Compliance Technician
Shift: Monday – Friday (6am to 2pm, flexibility required to cover occasional 1pm to 9pm shift)
What does the role entail?
Acting as part of a hands-on technical team to drive Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvements using data, statistics, and formalised problem-solving tools. To contribute effectively to the quality standards of the manufacturing facility by managing specific quality systems, developing, and implementing new and existing systems. You will analyse and action specific projects designed to improve the business performance. In addition, the identification of opportunities to enhance the quality standards of our product, processes, and business profitability. Ensuring and verifying that products and processes meet regulatory standards, internal policies, and customer codes of practice.
What are the Key Responsibilities?
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that products, systems, and processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Inspections and Testing: Perform verification and validation testing and analyse data to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions designed to improve business performance.
Documentation: Maintain relevant documentation, including compliance reports, finished product and raw material applications, and test results.
Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Engineering and NPD teams to understand processes and identify compliance issues early in the development cycle. Managing complaints and technical issues relating to product design and manufacturing. Advising management on compliance-related matters. Working with the teams to lead the site Food Safety Culture.
Training and Education: Educate staff and stakeholders about best practices to foster a culture of compliance within the organisation. Initiate product and process improvements through the implementation and analysis of designed experiments and capability studies.
Projects: You will be a key player and contributor to site projects, installations, and commissioning.
Who are we looking for?
You will be a team player, able to think analytically, identify compliance issues and analyse data.
