AJ Charlton and Sons are a family company that employ over 100 staff locally. Our Joinery Department now have an excellent opportunity for an Order Picker to join our long-established family run business near Frome, in Somerset.

We are looking for an experienced Order Picker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and packing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all orders are picked correctly and delivered on time. The Order Picker must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to lift heavy items, and have a keen eye for detail. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a warehouse setting. Working Hours are 06:00 - 15:30 Monday - Thursday & 06:00 - 14:30 on a Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety protocols when operating machinery.
  • Maintain an organized workspace.
  • Pick orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Pack orders for shipment.
  • Keep records of orders picked and shipped.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding order status.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £29,523.78 per year
