My client is a Top 10 accountancy firm in the UK, with a wide network of employees, offering flexible working and progression. As a growing business, new opportunities are readily available, especially for career-focussed and driven employees. A new role is available in the Private Client tax team as an Associate Director.

Your new role

You will:

* Provide a range of tax services, managing a private client portfolio, specialising in personal tax across a mix of compliance and advisory work

* Identify tax sensitive expenditure and wider tax issues

* Liaise with clients to resolve queries

* Communicate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are met, and overseeing client portfolios to ensure HMRC deadlines are met

* Assist in managing the Private Client Tax team, encouraging ideas and collaboration, conduct appraisals, provide coaching on assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work.

* Monitor your own utilisation, productivity and WIP

* Confident in providing guidance and feedback to others in the team

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant or tax professional, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent. You will need to demonstrate that you have managed a client portfolio, and you will have strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax and legislation, be proficient with advisory and tax planning work.

What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary dependent on experience up to £80,000. Flexible working options available and only 2 days in the office are required. An excellent benefits package is also available.
