Experienced Live-In Support Carer – Self-Employed

Skybod Healthcare Ltd is looking for dedicated and compassionate live-in support carers to provide personalised care and companionship in clients' homes.

This self-employed position allows you to deliver one-to-one, person-centred support, helping clients maintain independence, safety, and wellbeing. If you enjoy making a positive difference every day, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care (washing, dressing, grooming)
  • Support medication routines and daily activities
  • Prepare meals and help with light domestic tasks
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with mobility and safe movement
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities
  • Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in care (live-in or domiciliary)
  • Self-employed with a valid UTR number
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
  • Right to work in the UK and professional references
  • Naturally caring, reliable, and professional
  • Advantageous: NVQ Level 2/3 or First Aid certification
