The Role Of A Live-In Carer
As a professional live-in Carer, you will provide care and companionship at a time when a person needs it most and all within the comfort of their home.
Our client requires "long-term regular" Female Carers, non-smokers, reliable, hard-working and willing to learn. We are looking for a small team of Female Carers who are mature and professional with a "can do" attitude.
Working in a live-in care team of two, your priority will be to provide support and assistance, helping the person experience the highest level of health and well being as possible. Carers provide one-to-one home care in accordance with the person's specific care plan as well as helping them to enjoy living a full life as independently as possible.
Your live-in Carer duties may include but are not limited to:
Providing companionship and company
Supporting clients with personal care
Support continence
Administering Medication
Light housework and gardening
Preparing healthy meals
Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
Supporting clients to pursue their hobbies, interests and social activities
Offering specialized care for people with Dementia,Spinal Injury,Stroke and other conditions
The successful candidates will have:
Previous experience in care is desirable but not essential as we do provide full training and support.
You are not required to have a driving license but preference will be given to someone who does. You are not required to have a Car.
All Applicant for this post must be able to live with the clients on an organized rota and be willing to provide 24 hours care, as agreed by the Live in Manager.
Essential requirements: the right to work in the UK and a good level of English, both written and spoken.
