Duties

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Assist in menu planning and develop new culinary ideas to enhance our offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and optimise kitchen operations
  • Serve food efficiently and professionally to guests, ensuring satisfaction
  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times during food preparation and service

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with meal preparation, plating techniques, and menu development
