Role: Fleet Services Supply Chain Manager
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Sidcup
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £550 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Fleet Services Supply Chain Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
  • Lead on procurement and contract management activities for Fleet Services
  • Support the Head of Fleet in strategic and operational delivery
  • Manage and allocate contracts across the team
  • Monitor and reprocure contracts as needed
  • Analyse financial data, spend, and performance metrics
  • Draft specifications and procurement documentation (note: tendering will be handled by a separate team)
  • Implement new contracts and ensure smooth transitions
  • Provide training and support to peers and direct reports
  • Drive continuous improvement and proactive contract management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
  • Strong experience in procurement and contract management, ideally end-to-end
  • Experience managing public sector contracts, i.e. indirect and fleet-related services
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills - able to interpret financial and performance data
  • Good written skills - able to draft clear and effective specifications
  • Experience in learning and development of team members
  • Proactive, uses own initiative, and able to work independently
