**CNC Turner Setter/Operator (Mazatrol & Fanuc – Citizen Lathes)**

**Job Location:** Near Walsall

**Salary:** Up to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Job Type:** Full-Time, Permanent (Day Shift Only)

We are a leading precision engineering company located near Walsall, providing high-quality components to various industries. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator with expertise in Mazatrol and Fanuc control systems, preferably with experience on Citizen Lathes.

**Main Responsibilities:**

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls

  • Produce precise components on Citizen Lathes within tight tolerances

  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation

  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools

  • Adjust tooling, speeds, feeds, and offsets for accuracy

  • Make minor program edits (programming experience is a plus)

  • Collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

**Ideal Candidate:**

  • Proven CNC turning experience with Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controls

  • Practical experience with Citizen Lathes (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation

  • Good knowledge of tooling, machining principles, and cutting parameters

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Programming experience is a plus but not required
