The Role

You'll be joining a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers, working across a modern tech stack to build performant, scalable software used by millions of consumers. This is a hands-on senior role where you will take ownership of key system areas, drive technical improvements, and contribute to the evolution of a product undergoing an exciting phase of redevelopment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, high-performing software
  • Own and optimise key areas of the system, advocating for improvements and best practices
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features at scale
  • Contribute to the migration and modernisation of the existing Elixir platform into TypeScript-based services
  • Work on a platform that handles significant traffic, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in a similar web development role
  • Strong commercial experience with modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of backend development principles
  • Comfortable working across the stack and interested in full-stack engineering
