Senior MUREX IT Consultant – Specialist Support / Market Risk Projects

Location:
London, UK or Málaga, Spain

We are seeking an experienced
Senior MUREX IT Consultant
to join our team and provide specialist support for Market Risk MUREX projects. This role requires deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with MUREX installations and the MRB Risk module.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support for MUREX installations (v3) and MRB Risk module.
  • Configure filesystem and GUI for MRB, including executions and troubleshooting.
  • Manage EOD processes, Datamart, Extractions, PS, BoF, MDRS – Market Data.
  • Collaborate with Risk users and functional teams to gather requirements for new projects.
  • Open and manage cases with the MUREX provider.
  • Perform start/stop of MUREX services and assist with installation of new binaries/patches.
  • Support MRB module activities: VaR calculations, scenario containers/imports, RUNS, EXPORTS.
  • Configure Ant-scripts and automate executions.
  • Resolve issues related to MRB/FULL REVAL modules.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years
    working with MUREX installations and Market Risk modules.
  • Strong knowledge of MRB module, menus, services, and VaR calculations.
  • Familiarity with full installation processes and patch management.
