Department Description
The Global Leadership, Learning & Development team is part of the firm's People function and supports the delivery of the People strategy across each of the firm's regions (Americas, APAC and EMEA) through a range of global, regional, and local development programmes, workshops, e-learning, and other career development activities.
Role Overview
The coordinator will be a member of the Hogan Lovells Leadership, Learning & Development team. They will support the design and delivery of a range of global, regional, and local development initiatives: predominantly in-house programmes and workshops and liaising with commissioned external providers as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Work closely with the Head of Learning & Development – EMEA, the Head of Talent Management and Learning & Development Manager to plan and deliver our global leadership development programmes for senior associates and counsel, which run in either London or Washington, D.C.
- Book and liaise with external vendors and contributors, including hotels, external coaches, actors and other facilitators.
- Coordinate room bookings, catering, room set-up, equipment and technology for HL Lead & Learn programmes, workshops, and events.
- Communicate with participants and internal faculty, including partner sponsors, other contributing partners and coaches.
- Create, update, and distribute programme materials.
- Administer online assessments, feedback surveys, and collate results.
- Manage the running of in-person and virtual programmes, including coordinating additional on-the-ground support, and managing Zoom and Teams meetings.
- Maintain records and databases for different programmes.
- Budget management including process invoices and monitoring expenses related to programmes and workshops, as well as inputting into the annual budgeting process.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggest efficient ways of working where needed.
- Support additional regional programmes as needed.
Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Training
- Relevant experience with professional development and/or event/meeting planning.
- Proven competency in software applications and technology skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology as adopted by the team.
- Experience working with a learning management system preferred.
