The Role

We are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to undertake asbestos inspections, surveys and sampling other associated activity of the company in accordance with the Quality Manual, Site and Technical Procedures and associated legislation and guidance.

  • Location: Field based in Manchester
  • Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 plus car allowance

Duties include:

  • Undertaking Asbestos Management & Refurbishment surveys and re-inspections
  • Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients/customers
  • Providing recommendations for remedial works

Skills and Experience Required

  • British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) P402 – 'Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos as a minimum
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, and have an excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Must be prepared to travel
