The role

You'll report directly into the Finance Director and work closely with the BI Manager, commercial teams, and department heads. It's a genuinely varied role with proper ownership — a blend of technical, commercial and leadership responsibilities.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Producing monthly board packs that give real clarity and drive better decisions.
  • Partnering with revenue and operational teams to improve performance and accountability.
  • Managing the revenue and cash allocation cycle, keeping things watertight and well-controlled.
  • Overseeing cash flow forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning.
  • Monitoring KPIs and highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting year-end, audit and broader finance improvements as the business scales.

It's a hands-on role with plenty of visibility — you'll be involved in conversations that shape how the business operates, not just how the numbers are reported.

  • A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  • Experience operating at senior level with a mix of technical and commercial skills.
  • Someone confident partnering with non-finance teams and bringing clarity to complex situations.
  • Good communicator, improvement-minded, and comfortable taking ownership.
