Shift Pattern & Working Hours:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional overtime may be available depending on the needs of the setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning and development in accordance with the EYFS
  • Act as a Key Worker, building strong and supportive relationships with children and families
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and curiosity
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for babies, toddlers and preschool children
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, DBS requirements and Ofsted standards
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold high-quality childcare practice and positive room culture

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an early years setting as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator or Childcare Practitioner
  • Strong understanding of child development, the Early Learning Goals and the EYFS curriculum
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and Ofsted requirements
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for early childhood education
