Pharmacy Dispenser

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Dispenser at Shivo Chemist in Holloway Road. The Dispenser will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications prescribed by doctors or other healthcare professionals, and providing advice to patients on the safe and appropriate use of their medications. Other responsibilities may include maintaining medication and supply inventories, managing orders and deliveries, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Duties:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
- Prepare medication orders by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
- Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure quality patient care
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines
This position requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
