What will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain accurate project cost forecasts.
  • Align cost forecasts with resource plans to ensure financial projections reflect actual and planned resource usage.
  • Monitor project budgets, track actual spend, and highlight variances with clear commentary and recommendations.
  • Support the Procurement Team with financial oversight of supplier contracts, purchase orders, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Provide monthly financial reports to the Project Managers including forecast updates, budget status, and risk assessments.

What do we need from you?

  • Proven experience in project accounting or financial control within a project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Sage 200).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret resource plans and translate them into financial forecasts.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
