Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Handle customer orders efficiently, taking payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as required.
  • Restock supplies and organise ingredients to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and professionally.
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times for customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is desirable.
  • Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about coffee, food service, and delivering memorable customer experiences. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
