Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including setting up instruments and materials
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit by offering reassurance and support
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up appointments efficiently
- Adhere to infection control protocols at all times
- Support administrative tasks such as stock management and ordering supplies
Skills
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
