Encocam Limited are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembling electronic components, ensuring high-quality production standards. This role is essential in supporting the assembly of various electronic devices, including those with logic controllers and surface mount technology.

Join a cutting-edge team at the forefront of automotive safety innovation, where you'll play a vital role in developing and assembling instrumentation used in crash testing environments. As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for the meticulous assembly, precision soldering, and rigorous testing of high-performance electronic components. Your work will directly contribute to the accuracy and reliability of crash test instrumentation. This is a hands-on role requiring exceptional attention to detail and steady craftsmanship under the microscope.

Key responsibilities and tasks

· Perform fine soldering of components using a microscope

· Inspect solder joints and component placement for quality assurance

· Mechanical assembly where applicable for development items (e.g. strain gauge bonding and final assembly)

· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions

· Operate hand tools and precision instruments for electronic assembly

· Conduct functional and continuity testing using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools

· Maintain clean and organized workstations in compliance with ESD protocols

· Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes

· Provide input to concept designs for new products.
