Mechanic/Vehicle technician

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, and schematics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission failures
- Assemble and install vehicle components and systems
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and installations
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
-A fully qualified vehicle technician NVQ level 3 or equivalent -MOT Tester an advantage , training can be given -A current and valid uk driving license
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers
