Financial Administrator

We are a busy rural GP practice with an active dispensary and require a highly accurate, and experienced Financial Administrator to join our friendly team managing our core Practice finances.
Salary advertised is actual ( FTE £26,00 - £32,
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role providing administrative and financial management support to the Practice Manager and GP Partners. The role is responsible for the robust, accurate, and timely management of the Practice finances, including processing and reconciliation of monthly claims, drug invoicing, payroll and VAT returns.
We are looking for someone with proven experience in book keeping or financial administration. Strong skills in accounts payable and accounts receivable, VAT and IT packages such as Xero and Excel. Ideally, experience in submitting regulated monthly claims preferably NHS or Dispensing related and a good understanding of NHS income streams. Experience of end to end payroll advantageous. The applicant must have excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £17,520.04-£20,648.62 per year
