Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to licensing laws.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes, ingredients, and basic bartending techniques.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
  • A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A commitment to food safety practices is essential.
