St Albans AL, United Kingdom GD Construction (St. Albans) Ltd Full time £35,000 - £45,000 per year

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Tradesperson to join our team based at multiple sites around Central and North West London plus the surrounding areas. As our Multi Tradesperson you will support construction and repair activities. Typical works are based at NHS sites covering general maintenance such as window repairs, door repairs and installations, fire door remedial work, painting and decorating, plumbing and miscellaneous repair work as required by our client.

Responsibilities:

· Carry out work correctly and efficiently

· Follow instructions given to complete works to the specified standard

· Tidy and prepare the site, disposing of debris and waste properly

· Follow safety procedures and report violations to your supervisor

· Maintain a clean, safe area of works by properly storing materials and securing tools/equipment

· Report incidents and assist with site safety in line with group standards

· Erect and maintain safety signage and secure hazards at the end of the day

· Assist with loading/unloading and storing materials safely, minimizing loss or damage

· Check and receive material deliveries according to site requirements

· Maintain site tidiness and organization, ensuring compliance with housekeeping policies

· Assist with snagging and cleaning job areas

· Secure building areas and report any security concerns to supervisor.

Desirable:

· CSCS Card

· Experience as a Labourer or tradesperson

· Maths and English GCSE or equivalent

· Previous training and/or experience in at least one of the following trades:

  • Carpentry

  • Dry lining

  • Plumbing

  • Plastering

  • Painting & Decorating

  • Multi Trade NVQ

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
