We're recruiting an
External Sales Engineer
for a well-established German manufacturer of L.E.D. signalling products and audible alarms for industrial machinery and factory automation.

Package:

  • £50,000 to £55,000 Starting Salary

Location:

  • Remote (Work from Home)
  • Client Visits (North West and Yorkshire)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end customers in targeted, high-potential industries.

  • Actively visit customers to understand their evolving needs, support their applications, and ensure long-term satisfaction.

  • Take full ownership of your product portfolio and customer base — managing it strategically like your own business.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting sales partners with technical advice, application know-how, and customer service guidance.

  • Drive brand awareness and market visibility for world-class products through proactive engagement and professional representation.

  • Deliver sales growth in line with company objectives and regional targets.

About You:

  • Proven success in technical or industrial sales, ideally within automation, control, or signalling technology.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify, prioritise, and convert the right business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative and customer-centric approach.

  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of working effectively within a matrixed, geographically diverse team.

  • A collaborative, supportive, and coachable team player who contributes positively to shared success.
