As a Senior Manager within our Compensation & Benefits team, you'll work closely with the Head of Compensation & Benefits, the wider People Team and Heads of Departments to help create and shape our total reward strategy - not only in the UK, but internationally as well.

You will ensure our compensation and benefits are aligned with the expectations of a modern, scaling, geographically spread professional services business, and ensure it aligns with our vision and the values and culture of CP.

You will be a specialist, a thought leader and educator, helping to drive the strategy forward in CP. You will understand the importance of focusing on delivering a brilliant proactive service as well as getting involved in and leading on exciting projects and initiatives.

We're initially offering this position as an 18-month fixed term contract, although there is potentially scope for it to evolve into a permanent role.

This is a specialist knowledge role, as well as a being a key executor delivering on initiatives, including (but not limited to);

  • Developing the total reward offering of CP, providing the best insight and recommendations for a global or country / regional approach.
  • Leading the creation of or evolvement of a Compensation Philosophy 
  • Partnering with finance, the wider people team, and heads of department to manage and execute the annual salary review and associated budgeting process
  • Conducting regular market benchmarking using relevant data sources to provide credible and meaningful insight and data for stakeholders
  • Leading the design and implementation of compensation structures for all grades and specialisms / functions across CP
  • Reviewing and evaluating the benefit offering to ensure it meets a scaling business and is competitive in the marketplace across our regions and countries
  • Understanding and factoring in local legislation (UK and overseas) to ensure we meet in-country legal requirements through our total reward offering, and developing and maintaining policies
  • Using data and analytics to provide insights and analysis on areas such as pay trends, gender pay gap, and workforce costs as well as our cyclical reward related processes
  • Creating and providing clear communications, training and guidance to employees and leaders about our compensation and benefits offering
  • Seeking feedback from the business to help inform decisions and future plans in how we develop our total reward offering ensuring these align with organisational goals and expectations
  • Lead key transformational reward related projects, working with members of the People team and wider business project teams to support in the successful execution and delivery.

You'll also have…

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in a similar strategic compensation and benefits role
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices and benefit management across multiple regions / countries
  • Experience in designing and implementing global and / or multi-country reward programmes.
  • Experience implementing and utilising a salary benchmarking tool / platform
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, working at pace, and approaching work with a positive mindset
  • Experience creating, shaping and executing initiatives across the business, and leading and developing a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives at once, and to adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Excellent Excel, HRIS & analytical skills.

CIPD qualification and experience within professional services or accountancy would be a massive plus also
