Financial Reporting Manager | PE backed Tech | £75, ,000 + bonus

I am looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a fast growing PE backed Tech company. This is a newly created role due to growth within the company, this role is to support the Financial Controller while working with various stakeholders across the business.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the group's quarterly and annual financial reporting process, including maintaining templates and enforcing reporting timetables/policies across all sites.
  • Lead the preparation of the consolidated group financial statements, including all necessary notes, in compliance with IFRS.
  • Serve as the primary contact point for external auditors, managing the year-end audit for the consolidated group.
  • Research and prepare formal technical accounting papers for complex transactions and proactively prepare the group for new or changing IFRS standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with the group's core accounting policies and procedure documentation.
  • Provide essential accounting guidance and deploy necessary training to all sites across the group to ensure consistent application of policy.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, identify financial risks in collaboration with Internal Audit, and implement effective control mitigations.
  • Monitor and ensure the integrity of the balance sheet reconciliation process across all sites, including performing ad hoc reviews.

For this role you will be ACA/ CA qualified and have either worked your way up to audit manager or have industry experience with 2 - 5 years PQE. You will need exposure to large and complex matrix structures to be considered for this role.

The ideal person will have a passion in the implementing and improving processes, while being able to work across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
