A FTSE Consumer business who has a great track record of career development are currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Manager, who will be part of a very high performing team.

This is genuinely an opportunity where if you land well in your role and perform you can progress within a 12-month period.

Responsibilities of the successful Group Reporting Manager:

  • Responsible for managing the consolidation process for the group to ensure key information is provided to our internal and external stakeholders in accordance with agreed timetables.
  • Prepare timetables and instructions to the Group to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Involved in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems.
  • Reviewing Business Unit performance each accounting period, including continually building and improving the process by which Business Units present and explain periodic results.
  • Delivering ad hoc projects to support continuous improvement of the Group's external reporting, including liaising with the Group M&A team on significant non-routine transactions.
  • Leading the audit process for the group
  • Work with the Head of group external reporting to develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures and on group technical accounting matters.
  • Support on the Group corporate simplification project.

Key Skills and qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualification experience (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Committed team player with a proven ability to hit deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong focus on controls, processes, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and to use these relationships to get results
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders and operate with impact and influence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of using Oracle would be advantageous but not essential
