Job Title: Waiter/Floor Staff – Outdoor Venue

Location: Vinegar Yard London Bridge

Job Type: Seasonal 6 week Contract

We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our front-of-house team as waiters. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times.

  • Running drinks from the bar to guests at their tables ensuring that they are delivered to the correct table.

  • Take accurate table orders for food and beverages using a notepad or POS system.

  • Serve food and drinks to tables promptly and efficiently.

  • Provide floor service, including checking in with guests who are not seated at tables (e.g., standing areas, picnic setups), taking drink or snack orders, and maintaining a clean, organized space.

  • Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and stocked throughout the shift, including outdoor dining areas and communal zones.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or feedback professionally and promptly.

  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not essential.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, proactive attitude.

  • Comfortable working on your feet for long periods.

  • Ability to carry multiple plates or trays and manage busy service periods.

  • Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
